Training Terms & Conditions and Code of Conduct – Antichi Decori Ltd

Last updated: 26 February 2026

Antichi Decori Ltd delivers professional, hands-on training in authentic Valpaint systems, including Venetian plaster, microcement, polished plaster, and advanced decorative textures. Our courses (often held in Italy or the UK) equip installers, designers, architects, and tradespeople with the skills to deliver premium finishes confidently.

By booking and attending any training course, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Code of Conduct below. Therefore, read them carefully before confirming your place.

Part 1: Training Terms & Conditions

  1. Booking & Payment
    • We require a non-refundable deposit to secure your spot and confirm your booking.
    • You must pay the full balance before the course starts (we will specify the exact deadline in your confirmation).
    • Spaces are limited, so we allocate them on a first-come, first-served basis.
    • For example, if payment is late, we may offer your place to someone on the waiting list.
  2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
    • Deposits remain non-refundable under all circumstances.
    • You can request to reschedule to another available date (subject to availability and any admin fee we may apply).
    • However, if we cancel the course (e.g., due to low numbers or unforeseen issues) more than 30 days before the start date, you may choose a new date or receive a full refund (excluding any non-recoverable costs like travel you already incurred).
    • For cancellations closer to the date, we assess on a case-by-case basis.
  3. Course Content, Trainers, and Schedules We reserve the right to adjust course content, trainers, venues, dates, or schedules when necessary (for example, due to trainer availability or updated Valpaint techniques). We will notify you as soon as possible and aim to minimise disruption.
  4. Health & Safety Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by trainers. In addition, you agree to use tools, materials, and equipment responsibly and report any hazards immediately. Failure to comply may result in removal from the course for safety reasons.
  5. Use of Materials and Intellectual Property Training materials, techniques, demonstrations, and handouts remain our intellectual property. Therefore, you must not record sessions, reproduce content, or share techniques externally without our written permission.
  6. Certification We issue certificates of completion to participants who fully attend and successfully demonstrate the required skills. However, we may withhold certification if you breach these terms or the Code of Conduct.
  7. Liability We are not responsible for:
    • Travel, accommodation, or other personal costs
    • Loss of earnings or business opportunities
    • Damage to or loss of your personal property Nothing excludes our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Part 2: Training Code of Conduct

This Code ensures a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all participants, trainers, and staff.

  1. Purpose We expect everyone to contribute to smooth, professional sessions where learning outcomes are achieved without disruption.
  2. Respectful Behaviour Treat trainers, staff, and fellow participants with courtesy and professionalism. Avoid disruptive, aggressive, discriminatory, or harassing behaviour. We do not tolerate intimidation of any kind.
  3. Attendance and Punctuality Arrive on time for every session and stay for the full duration. If you anticipate lateness or absence, notify us in advance. Repeated issues may affect your certification or future participation.
  4. Health & Safety Requirements Follow all safety rules strictly. Wear required protective gear, handle equipment carefully, and report hazards or injuries right away. Non-compliance may lead to immediate removal.
  5. Use of Tools, Materials, and Equipment Handle everything with care and use items only as instructed. Do not remove tools/materials from the premises or cause damage. Intentional misuse may result in repair/replacement charges.
  6. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property Do not record sessions (audio/video) or share course content externally without permission. All techniques and materials are proprietary to Antichi Decori Ltd and Valpaint.
  7. Professional Conduct in Practical Sessions Work safely, keep workspaces tidy, respect shared areas, and follow trainer instructions at all times to avoid endangering anyone.
  8. Substance Use Alcohol, illegal substances, or being under the influence are strictly prohibited. Anyone suspected will be removed immediately without refund.
  9. Mobile Phones and Devices Keep phones on silent and take calls outside the training area. Avoid using devices during demonstrations unless the trainer permits it (e.g., for note-taking apps).
  10. Raising Concerns or Complaints If you have any issue, speak directly to the trainer or coordinator first. Alternatively, email shop@antichidecori.co.uk or call +44 7821 065 8650. We handle all concerns under our Complaints Policy.
