1. Overview

At Antichi Decori Ltd, we deliver high‑quality decorative finishes for residential and commercial spaces. Because we value craftsmanship and transparency, we provide a clear warranty that explains what we cover and how we support our clients. This policy applies to Venetian plaster, polished plaster, microcement, lime finishes, and all Valpaint decorative systems.

2. Warranty Coverage

2.1 Workmanship Warranty

We offer a 12‑month workmanship warranty on every installation we complete. This warranty includes:

  • Application issues caused by our team
  • Peeling or delamination that results from incorrect installation
  • Visible defects that appear during normal use

When a problem falls under our workmanship warranty, we repair the affected area at no extra cost. As a result, you receive a finish that performs as intended.

2.2 Material Warranty

All materials we supply come with the manufacturer’s warranty, including Valpaint Italy products. These warranties usually cover:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Product failures unrelated to installation or site conditions

Additionally, we help clients submit manufacturer claims when needed, ensuring a smooth process.

3. What We Do Not Cover

3.1 Site or Structural Issues

We cannot cover problems caused by:

  • Building movement or structural instability
  • Moisture ingress, leaks, or damp conditions
  • Damage from later construction or renovation work

3.2 Improper Use or Maintenance

The warranty does not apply to:

  • Impact damage or abrasion
  • Harsh chemicals or unsuitable cleaning products
  • Ignoring care and maintenance guidelines

3.3 Natural Characteristics

Because our finishes are hand‑crafted, natural variations will appear. These characteristics are not defects:

  • Colour variation
  • Texture variation
  • Patina development
  • Minor surface irregularities

3.4 Third‑Party Work

We cannot cover issues caused by:

  • Other contractors
  • Alterations made after installation

4. Warranty Conditions

To keep your warranty valid, please follow these conditions:

  • Report any issue within 14 days of noticing it
  • Use the installation under normal conditions
  • Allow us to inspect the issue before anyone attempts a repair

If another contractor works on the area before our inspection, the warranty becomes void.

5. Microcement Exclusions

Microcement requires a stable substrate and careful maintenance. Therefore, the warranty does not cover:

  • Hairline cracks caused by substrate movement
  • Impact damage or sharp‑object damage
  • Staining from chemicals, oils, or incorrect cleaning

We provide clear care instructions to help you protect your finish.

6. Repairs Under Warranty

When we approve a warranty claim:

  • We schedule a repair within a reasonable timeframe
  • We restore the affected area as effectively as possible
  • We aim for a close match, although hand‑applied finishes may vary slightly

7. Limitations of Liability

Antichi Decori Ltd does not accept responsibility for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Costs related to removing furniture or fixtures
  • Damage caused by conditions outside our control

Our liability remains limited to repairing or re‑applying the affected area.
