Returns & Refunds Policy – Antichi Decori Ltd

Antichi Decori Ltd supplies premium Valpaint products, including Venetian plaster systems, microcement, polished plasters, and decorative finishes across the UK. We want you to be completely satisfied. However, if an item doesn’t meet your expectations, this policy explains your options.
This policy applies to purchases made online, by phone, or at distance (not in-person collections). For faulty goods, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 always apply and override any stricter terms here.
1. Change-of-Mind Returns (Non-Faulty Items)
You have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations to cancel and return most items for any reason.
- You must notify us in writing (email preferred) within 14 days of receiving the goods.
- Return the items within a further 14 days after notifying us.
- Items must be:
- Unopened
- Unused
- In original condition and packaging (with all labels, seals, and accessories intact)
Custom-tinted or bespoke colours (mixed to your specific requirements) cannot be returned under change-of-mind rules, because they qualify as personalised/bespoke goods (exempt from cooling-off rights).
2. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items
If goods arrive damaged, faulty, or not as described:
- Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery (email shop@antichidecori.co.uk with photos, order number, and details).
- For short-term rejection (up to 30 days from delivery), you can reject the item and get a full refund (including original delivery costs).
- We will arrange collection or provide instructions for return at our expense if the fault is confirmed.
Provide clear photos/evidence to help us resolve quickly.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned or refunded (except if faulty):
- Custom-tinted or bespoke-mixed colours/products
- Opened containers or tins
- Used products or partially used materials
- Clearance/sale items (unless faulty)
- Items unsealed for health/hygiene reasons (e.g., once opened, paints may fall under this if applicable)
4. Refunds Process
- We inspect returned items upon receipt.
- If approved, we process refunds to your original payment method within 14 days (or sooner).
- Refunds cover the product price and original standard delivery costs (if change-of-mind or faulty).
- We do not refund expedited shipping unless the fault was ours.
5. Return Shipping Costs
- Change-of-mind returns: You pay return shipping (use tracked/signed-for service for proof).
- Faulty/damaged/incorrect items: We cover return costs (we provide prepaid label or collection if needed).
- Therefore, always contact us first before returning anything.
6. Exchanges
We offer exchanges for unopened, standard-colour (non-custom) products in original condition.
- Request within 14 days of receipt.
- We will arrange replacement once we receive the original item (you pay return shipping unless faulty).
7. How to Return or Request a Refund/Exchange
- Email shop@antichidecori.co.uk with your order number, reason, and photos (if applicable).
- Await our confirmation and return instructions.
- Pack securely and use tracked delivery.
- Keep proof of postage.
